Cirque Colors Paint N’ Peel Base Coat Review

Today I’m sharing my thoughts on Cirque Colors’ Paint N’ Peel peel off base coat. 😊

I personally am a big fan of peel off base coats as I use them exclusively when I’m not trying basecoats for review or swatches. I like the ease and satisfaction of peeling off my polish once I’m done with them. And as a swatcher, I usually can’t keep my polishes on too long anyway so a peel-off keeps polish remover away from my nails and fingers 99% of the time which means less maintenance for me to keep my nails and hands looking and feeling hydrated.

So when Cirque emailed about sending over their new peel off base coat, I was a little more than excited. 😁

So, I thought the peel off polish dried fairly quickly as it was a fairly thin formula and made it easy to use as I have no patience. 😆I then went right into doing the design with the polish and glitter placements and a top coat. Once I finished taking the pictures and it was time to take it off, the removal was easy and quite satisfying. Basically everything came off in 1 sheet as I was peeling it away (I use an orange stick to help lift a corner and then I use my fingers to gently peel it off) and it did not leave any marks on my nails at all. Any marks you see are just from my natural nails. I haven’t tried it as a true base coat to test for longevity but I definitely plan on doing that and will update this post once I’ve had a chance to do that. For now, I would recommend it just purely based on how quickly it dried, how easily it removed my mani and the fact that it didn’t cause any damage to my nails. 😊
