Today I’m sharing swatches of the Girly Bits Cosmetics X Caitlin Swatches Collaboration! 😊

In celebration of her 10th year as a nail polish content creator, Caitlin Swatches has teamed up with Girly Bits to create this seriously colourful and sparkly collection! Caitlin discovered Girly Bits in 2014 and the brand remains one of her favourites after all these years. Pam and Caitlin collaborated to create 15 nail polishes ranging from sheer and ethereal to rich and vibrant. You’ll find a little bit of everything in this 15 piece collection and hopefully something just right for you. – Girly Bits Cosmetics

All of my swatches are 2 coats and no top coat unless otherwise stated. Also I can’t find my blacklight (which I swear I had at one point) so I can’t show you all the blacklight reactive ones – sorry! 😅

Let’s get into the pictures! The many many pictures! You’ve been warned! 😁

First up, ‘Sweet Bday Baby’ – an in your face neon red cream with neon orange undertones. Blacklight reactive. This one can be a one-coater if you apply it right. Here my middle and pinky finger has a glossy top coat and the other 2 nails have no top coat at all – you can see it has a slight satin finish. Super gorgeous! Love this red!

‘Just A Spark’ – a bright sunshine yellow with gold to pink shimmer and matching iridescent microflakes. Blacklight reactive. I love how the microflakes pop under bright lighting. So fun!

‘Coming Up Lavender’ – a soft lavender with a violet-blue to pink colour shifting pearlescent shimmer. This one is so delicate and ethereal. 😍

‘Opal Lesson Time’ – a clear based topper with pink to green colour shifting shimmer, pink to green colour shifting iridescent flakes, and pinpoint holo. Here I layered 1 coat over Sweet Bday Baby. Such a pretty topper!

‘Crying Over Spilled Milk’ – a pale milky-pink sheer base with colour shifting iridescent flakes in pink, blue, and aqua, and a fine blue-violet sheen. That strong shimmer has my heart. 💗

‘Fever Dream On Mars’ – a hot pink jelly base, with colour shifting shimmer and matching colour shifting iridescent flakes & glitter in pinks, oranges, and gold/lime. Bright pinks are always flattering to wear for all skin-tones I think. Gorgeous!

‘Holographic Meatloaf’ – a baby pink linear holo. Not sure why but this reads more as a soft lilac than baby pink but either way, it’s so darned pretty!

‘Silk Chiffon Cake’ – a soft cotton candy pink with a gold-green-aqua shifting pearlescent shimmer. I’m wearing this as I write up this blog post and it is absolutely stunning! The shift to neon pink at certain angles literally makes me want to never take it off. 😍
Note: This was thoroughly tested for fading and was stable after 2+ years, but please store in a cool dark place to ensure the longevity of this pigment. These types of pigments can be prone to fading, and do have a shorter shelf life than most.

‘Dinosaur Loser’ – a lime green loaded with light blue shimmer and flakes. Blacklight reactive.

‘Twilight Surf’ – a medium violet purple base with a glowy aqua-turquoise-purple sheen, and small-medium holo flakes. Shimmer with holo flakies are kind of my kryptonite 😅

‘Remember the Blue Sky’ – a vibrant teal base with a violet-blue-green sheen and a sparkly scattered holo. This mermaid polish just calls to me!

‘Faith and Roses’ – a semi-sheer black base that shifts to a glowing red, accented with crushed gold flakes and a sprinkling of holographic gold pinpoint glitter. I always love a red glow in a blackish base but added the gold accents just make it so elegant yet vampy. Perfection! 😍

‘Love Stays’ – a blackened blue base with a vibrant blue-indigo shimmer, and small-medium holo flakes. So much yes to this. 💙

‘Honk If You Love Halloween’ – a semi-sheer black base, pink-orange colour shifting flakes. Can never go wrong with iridescent flakies in a sheer dark base. Love!

And finally, ‘Powered By Little Treats’ – a super colourful glitter bomb clear based topper with some holo flakes and a variety of fun glitter, including hearts, stars, moons, diamonds, triangles, circles, rectangles, butterflies, daisies, squares, and hexes, in holographic, neon, and matte finishes. This glitter topper contains 42 different glitters, glows under blacklight, and works perfectly over pretty much every polish in this collection.
Shelf life disclaimer from Girly Bits Cosmetics: I have used all of those glitters before, however the neon stars and hearts can eventually leach a little colour into the base. Not much, but eventually it might not be perfectly clear. The only way you would ever see it is in the bottle (maybe) and over a stark white base (maybe). But they are such a small amount of the overall ratio that I don’t think it will ever really be noticed.

I used 1 dabbed coat on my index and ring finger in this fun mani using some of the other polishes from this collection. I also used top coat on the 2 nails where I used the topper.
