LynBDesigns Halloween Advent 2022 Swatches & Live Swatch

Happy Halloween!! 👻🦇🎃

Today I’m sharing with you the LynBDesigns Halloween Advent for 2022. I purchased this limited edition collection when it came out and it did not disappoint!

This 12 piece collection was inspired by villains so you’ll see some of the names reflecting some of their more famous sayings. I have to admit though that I’m not super familiar with many of them but the ones I do know I can absolutely appreciate. 😁

The collection was all mysteries because of the nature of how an advent works but I found myself really loving so many of these and they were 50% off so that was amazing too!

Since they were mysteries, I don’t have the official descriptions but I’ll do my best to describe them and hopefully my pictures will help. As well, these are no longer available as they were only available for a short time so if you do happen to fall in love with any of them then perhaps you’ll get lucky in a destash – sorry! 🥲

All of my swatches are 2 coats and no top coat unless otherwise stated. Let’s get into the pictures!

First up, I’ll Show Him Who Wears the Crown is a light blue flakie with blue reflective glitter. Love a soft blue! The blue reflective isn’t dominant in this one, just enough for a subtle effect. So pretty!

Mistress of All Evil is a green/purple multichrome holo. In regular lighting the polish easily shifts between green and purple. I’m actually wearing it right now and it’s gorgeous!

You Fools! is a black jelly with different sized glitters and flakies. I love how the red glitters just pop in this one.

Hellfire is an iridescent flakie thermal. It goes from the darker green you see in the bottle to the lighter caramel shade you see on my nails. It transitions quite easily as I take my pictures right after application and there is barely a transition left in sight even on the very first picture. Under the bright light it was a bit hard to tell but once I finished with the pictures, my nail tips did look that darker green shade. Maybe you can tell a bit on my last picture if you look hard enough 😁

I’m Surrounded by Idiots is a green flakie that I thought was a reflective but is not which is why my pictures are with flash 😆 It’s pretty though!

Stay With Mama is berry holo with iridescent flakies. I think the flakies stole the show in this one. 😍

Off With Their Heads is a purple with blue shimmer magnetic with iridescent flakies. This one I did 3 coats because I only realized that it was a magnetic after my first 2 coats 😆 The magnetic effect was subtle but in person it’s much better. Index and pinky are unmagnetized.

Say Goodbye to Prince ABooBoo is a mega flakie in a red jelly base. I didn’t think I’d like this one as much a I do.

Winner of the No Belle Prize is a brown magnetic with holo flakies and a dash of iridescent flakies. Another subtle magnetic effect for me but this formula was surprisingly opaque. I only did a second coat out of habit but it definitely had great coverage in 1 coat – especially since it has to be a thicker coat in order for you to be able to work with the magnetic particles properly.

Poor Unfortunate Soul is a purple multichrome with micro holo flecks. Another really pretty one!

You Blithering Blockhead is a gorgeous pale pink shimmer with red glitter and fucshia reflective glitter. Love this one 😍

And finally, Our Moment of Triumph Approaches is a purple holo shimmer. Stunning!
